Service advisor tried to rip me off by charging me for things that were not needed and for services where the labor was severely inflated; $89 to wipe oil off the oil pan. Also tried to tell me that air filters were more expensive at Auto Zone or any other retailer. Honesty in the auto repair industry goes a long way. This sales advisor is the reason why mechanic shops have a bad name. Advisor should be let go and maybe go work at a Japanese auto dealer and not an honest American dealership!
I like the fact that everything went smoothly. From the time I called to have my car scheduled/dropped off to the time it took to pick it up. There were no issues. Jason was knowledgeable and friendly which made for a pleasant experience.
Schedule a service appointment very easily online, received a confirmation email and a follow up reminder email the day before. Walked it and was immediately helped and told to make myself at home. Took a little less than an hour and everything was done. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful.
After having my car for 2 full days, they only fixed one issue. Claimed that they couldn't duplicate the remote problem and that they didn't hear to window issue. When the sound was quite evident especially after the gave me a rental as the same model as my car and I didn't hear a wind sound in that rental.
I am a first time customer to Hendrick Chevrolet. As I drove up to the building it was difficult to tell where I was to go. Some type of signs indicating where a new customer is to go would be helpful for future customers. Also some communication before we arrive to have service would be helpful. Communication as to what to expect, i.e., drive into the garage, leave keys in ignition, wait in the waiting room lobby, etc.
I always have a great visit here. I get what I need done and I am informed of any and all issues with the car. Great staff and very pleasant to deal with! I always get a hello and a how are you from people who aren't dealing with the service and are just walking by!
